Ok lets make a list of all airports with free wifi. Here are the ones I know for sure.

Ft. Lauderdale - FLL
Kansas City - MCI
Peoria
Rapid City -RAP
Moline
Las Vegas - LAS
Baltimore - Washington - BWL
Des Moines - DSM
Portland, OR - PDX

I'll edit this post to include ones that other people add in this thread so we can have an easy to follow master list.

IND is paid Wifi. MCI used to be, but they decided a couple months ago to make it free. I honestly don't know of too many airports with free wifi, at least not larger ones. But if you sit outside a Continental President's Club, you can Jones off the free wifi inside the club. It's a funny sight, actually, now that many people have figured this out, you see a horde of people sitting on the floor outside of the Pres Clubs in IAH. CO took the chairs out that used to line the hallway outside of the club, and now they sit on the floor, like college kids waiting for class to start.

Haha nice. I know DEN has wifi, not sure if its pay or free though.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

DEN was one of the first airports I found to have wifi at all, and it was always paid wifi. I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know if this has changed.

Airports with paid wifi, at least the last time I was there:

SAN
DEN
MSY (except it wasn't working last couple times I was there)
ATL
IND
PHL
DCA
RDU
CHS
MSP

Free wifi, is, sadly, a rarity. I guess the airports have to make money from every possible revenue stream. On that note, I recall reading that there was a dispute between an airport (I think ATL) and CO over their free wifi at the Pres Club. ATL was trying to argue that CO couldn't install their own free wifi without permission from the airport because it was a concession, like a restaurant or store, and the airport controls those.
