I love that top picture with the 727 and the stairs opened up in the back. Those must be old pics.

Welcome aboard btw.

Thanks, I didn't even know about this site until I saw it in your profile from a.net. This is a nice site, well done! (I assume you started it but I might be wrong)

Yeah. I think I started it up about a year ago. I still have alot of work to do on it. I have work I need to finish on another site by June 1 and then I'll get back to work on this one.

Wow. I haven't seen a 727 in a while. I forgot it was a tri-engine. I wonder when the last 727 was retired at a US airline...

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

I do believe it was Delta, but I'm not sure. BTW, Chapion Air still operates them, and they visit IND occasionally, also FedEx uses them in IND.

I should have said, last US pax airline. Lots of weird old birds being used as freighters. Just last month I though I saw an A340 landing, but it turned out to be a DC-8, which INDY correctly concluded.

Seeing that DC-8 must have been like seeing an antique car driving down the road.
