I see in the AirTran route map that IND-MIA is back. Has anyone heard anything about it? I can't find it in the schedule yet. It was just added to the route map so it may show up soon.

Nice. Do we still have IND-FLL?

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

FLL is back or will be back in a matter of days. Not sure if it has started back up just yet. But when it returns it looks to stay. Its in the FL timetable through the end of May.

I was poking around looking at the Airtran route map and I thought to myself that IND could become a great airport to connect Airtran's east coast markets with the west coast. Have IND run SFO, LAX, and LAS like they already do and then add PHX, SAN, SEA, PDX, and others, and connect these destinations to the east coast utilizing IND instead of the clogged ATL. It would save time and miles.

Only one I'm not sure about is PHX with Southwest and US Airways already serving it. But then again we have three airlines serving a smaller market in Denver.

Well, I mentioned PHX because it was already a destination served by FL and therefore connecting pax could go through IND to PHX based on what I said in the post above.

I think the tough part will be getting destinations east and north of us to complete connections. PIT is a possibility with only US serving it and them not exactly being popular right now in PIT. Don't know if there is enough demand to LGA to add that route. What about CLT or RDU maybe?

IND-MIA has been pulled back off the route map. I guess it was an error.
