From March 3rd to April 7th Delta will be providing nonstop Saturday only service to MCO. The flight will be on an E170. It is a start but this flight should be operating twice daily and 7 days a week on nothing less than an MD80. But I guess you have to start somewhere. I just wish Delta would get a little bit more serious about this service.

Why are they only providing this service on Saturday?

I guessing that this flight is for the spring break crowd given the time of year it's being run.

I would imagine so. At least that's what I got from Indy's post.

I was just wondering because even their using this for spring break i was thinking it was going to be a seasonal route after April 7th.

Nowadays, who knows? These airlines have gotten so unpredictable with their routes. Not only out of IND, but other airports as well. It's like a massive game of musical chairs that the airlines play with their hubs and routes.
