I've been seeing a second daily to JFK coming up on a couple of dates of playing with the OAG timetables. When did this get added, or has it been around for a while and I'm just missing it -now- for whatever the reason?

Is it a nonstop or a 1 stop flight?

Is that that its a code share flight. Is DL operating the code share for someone or is this another airline offering the flight under the DL name? I can't find it on the Delta website.

According to the ITA search tool, both flights are DL code shares run by Comair. Strangely, though, it could not confirm seat availability for either flight. Wonder if that means these flights are being added because of some kind of seasonal demand spike, or possibly in lieu of switching from a CRJ to a mainline aircraft.

i forget the exact details but isn't Delta adding more international flights out of Kennedy in the near future? maybe the morning flight is to connect to the banks. it wouldnt be a response to fly i's pull out, would it?

You might be right about connecting to the banks. I don't think they'd give a rat's ass about the flyi pullout, though. That was a thorn in UA's side for their IAD operations. DL's more worried about Airtran and JetBlue.
