Looks like NW is hiring the airline version of a Walmart greeter.

Quality Service Agents

It is a nice touch I think. I am not sure how they are going to position them at IND unless they are going to put them on the air side. Otherwise you are going to need more than one working at a time. $9.71 an hour to be a greeter. Dang!

Could be a position that they want to have in conjunction with....wait for it...International Service. Someone to help all those Dutch folks check in for their flights and find the restroom at the IAB.

Very Happy

I was thinking it was to tell all those people waiting around baggage claim to pick up their friends and family coming back from CUN that they were in the wrong building.

Actually, I'm guessing from the job title that these are the utterly useless people who direct the next person in line to the next available open check-in kiosk.

I disagree that they are useless. Almost every time I fly out of a busy airport like EWR, LAS, LAX, LGA, and even IND, there are always dumb people in the kiosk line that aren't paying attention and stand there like fools when there are open kiosks...

BINGO!

They keep the crowds moving during the busy mornings! In MSP they transfer minors that are traveling by themselves.
