I did not see this coming either. They smell blood. I am confident in saying there is not enough demand to support four carriers on this route. For those reading this that don't know who the four are...

United Airlines
Frontier Airlines
Northwest Airlines (summer seasonal)
Southwest Airlines (starting June)

There is a slight yet interesting change to the NW schedule. The route will be operated by Mesaba Airlines. It will be twice daily on the CRJ 900 instead of once daily on the A319.

Hey Indy did Southwest ever do service from IND-DEN just curious.

They fly it right now. Looks like today they had 3 nonstop flights to DEN.
