I didn't know this until I saw the story about the flights being delayed until may. But it looks like Continental will be flying between Indianapolis and Evansville. Here is the story about the delay.

"Continental Airlines flights between Evansville and Indianapolis aren't likely to begin until May. Evansville Regional Airport officials had hoped for a March start. The airport has been trying to reinstate service since flights stopped following the 2001 terrorist attacks. Read the Courier & Press story."

7E72004 brought something up in private chat that rang a few bells. He asked if CO would fly SBN as well. When ATA took the grant a year+ ago the deal was they had to fly Evansville and South Bend to Indianapolis. I believe CO is taking the Evansville route as part of a grant. Is it the same grant ATA took? Does this mean that CO will by flying South Bend to Indianapolis as well and we just haven't heard about it yet?

Here is more on the project. It doesn't look as if it will be CO equipment on the route.

I'll post more if I can find it.
