According to the IBJ there will be no improvements made to IND to accommodate the A380 which will save the airport $21 million. Personally I am glad. I am not a fan of the A380. Airbus makes some decent jets like the A320 and the A330. The A380 was a joke and I think they are paying dearly for it. I'll be happy seeing a right sized 777 coming in here. Good move guys.

Yup, there's no need to make improvements here, FX won't be using them so it makes sense. Speaking of the 777, when will it show up here?

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

The story says the first 777 isn't due for delivery until 2009. So it will be a while.

Did anyone see the videos on the news of the A380 landing in LAX? It looked like it was about to make a sharp right hand turn. I just can't see how "quiet" it would be when in the baggage claim with all of the other passengers *lol*

Apparently the 747-8 did a test flight here. I missed it.
