I'll have a minimum of two trips coming up in February 2009. I'll fly all the trips on NW/DL because I want the miles. And there will be a ton of miles.

First trip will be IND-MCO from Feb 24th to 25th. The second trip will be IND-OSL (route unknown at this time) from Feb 26th to March 5th. I am looking at a 3rd trip out west before the IND-MCO flight. It will be 3 days. Likely leaving on the 19th of Feb and returning on the 23rd. I can't decide if I am going to attempt a mileage run when I get back from Oslo or not. I'm thinking of a day trip to Seattle.

The family is going to Disney for a week then on a 1 week Caribbean cruise. Going on all these flights is what I'm going to be doing. My goal is to get as close to 20,000 miles in 2 weeks as possible. Later in the spring I'll take a trip to Germany which will put me over 25,000 and get me silver elite status.

First trip booked. IND-ATL-MCO-IND. The trip to MCO is booked on NW but will be DL metal. There will be the 757-200 from IND-ATL and the 767-400ER from ATL-MCO. The return trip is NW or Compass I should say. It is the E175. The trip is Feb 24th to Feb 25th. Shorty stay. Total price for this trip was $169.50.

Edit: Corrected Airline. Compass not Pinnacle.

Ever been to OSL before? Great city. But the airport seems like it's in Finland. You can fly with only 1-stop on CO via EWR. But the EWR-OSL leg is on a 757, and I do not recommend it. If I were you, I'd do the IND-DTW-AMS-OSL routing. AMS is always fun to connect at anyway.

While you're there, go to a Japanese restaurant called Nodee. It's in the Majorstuen area of town, can't recall the address. Order some whale sushi; it's incredibly good. They also have other delicious dishes, but outside of Japan and Iceland, this is the only other country (to my knowledge) where you can legally obtain whale meat. A rare culinary experience for sure.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

DL changed my IND-MCO leg to an MD88. I'm getting tired of this airline already.

BTW I've never been to OSL.
