I have my first trip coming up in almost a year. I am flying the evil empire down to Orlando with a stop each way in ATL. I selected Delta over AirTran even though AirTran was a little bit cheaper even when you consider seat selection fees and bag fees. I'm taking advantage of my silver medallion status. I'll be able to select any coach seat and get 2 free checked bags each way. The real bonus is the ff miles and the possibility of free upgrades. The IND-ATL flight is pretty full but the other three have much lighter loads. The return trip on March 2nd looks really empty. Hopefully I'll get at least one segment upgraded.

My ATL-MCO flight has been upgraded. I'm on the upgrade list for IND-ATL. So we will see how that goes. Smile
