How will the airlines manage the tens of thousands of people that will be flying from IND to MIA? Going through ORD won't help because you'll have the same problem from there with the Bears fans.

I believe AirTran has some charters set up. they will be going through the main terminal (public charters). I would also expect other charter carriers to be called upon...the likes of Miami Air and Champion.

As for the Colts (they have a contract with NW)...expect a few widebodies.

Surprised

Sweet, when are the players flying out? Not for a week at least I guess.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

My guess is the players will be flying out in a week. The SuperBowl action starts almost a week in advance.

Looking for pics of charter flights if anyone is able to capture any. The team supposedly leaves today but I haven't found any flight info.

They left just after five on a NW A330. I would have gone out there, but I'm sick at home Sad

I'm pathetic. I just didn't feel motivated to go out today. I don't know why. Oh well. I'll get a pic when they come back with that Lombardi trophy.

I got an amazing picture (I think) today of one of the A330s as it rotated - RIGHT in front of the new terminal construction!

Only problem....I can't find my cords to hook up the camera to the computer.
