Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??http://web01.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?userid=16657

I've gotten really good at flying. I used to fly real time but I'm just far too impatient. When I get to about 5,000 feet I go to 2x. Once I get to cruising altitude I go to 4x. I don't go any faster because it seems to mess with the AI traffic.
BTW I can land the airplane without even looking at the runway

I've seriously thought about joining one before, but the hardest part is getting it all initially set up, there is no guide for how to join a VA that I've found.
Yeah, I've noticed that too, go 8x and AI goes down the tube. I've sat 4x at SXM before waiting for arrivals. It was relaxing...almost like actually being there, lol.

The only time I go to 4x is when I'm established at cruise on a GPS navigated flight. Otherwise I fly real time. I like taking the Concorde out of JFK, departing to the west, then hanging a hard left turn immediately after liftoff to fly the Canarise (sp?) climb.
I have also flown all the Cape air routes in both Mass. and Indiana in a Cessna 402.
My biggest thing I need to work on is smoothing out the landings in the triple 7. No matter how much I slow the a/c, it still flies the approach in a nose down attitude like a CRJ. I can't judge the height very well when it comes to flare (cockpit is high off the ground), so I usually hit pretty hard.
Unfortunately, my computer will only run FS2000. I envy those with FSX.

FSX is nice, but you can easily manage without it, don't worry.
