Last week I flew CLE-MSY on an RJ - 2:50 in seat 2A. I don't mind the RJ's up to about 1:30 or a little longer. But beyond that, the lack of padding in the seats really starts to bother me.

So it got me thinking - I wonder was the longest flight is from IND in an RJ? And I'm not counting the ER70 or ER90 - I'm talking about a typical RJ, either CRJ or Embraer 135/145 - so IND-SLC on the Repbublic ER70 doesn't count.

I know I've flown IND-IAH on an RJ - that's about 2:35 or so scheduled flight time. Not sure if that's the longest one, though. Any guesses?

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

Indianapolis to Houston should take 2:05, but with air traffic, easily add another :5 or :10. When Northwest was running their spurratic flights down to South Florida on the RJ, those were clocking in at about the same amount of time, but since they are not offered...then I think Continental does indeed win the prize at the moment.
