Yes.. I am mad at myself. I am coming home from the afternoon showing of Ice Age 2 and what do I see flying by up ahead? A NW 747-400. What did I not have with me? A camera.

I see NW flight 9980 from LAX as a 747-400 landing at 4:44 pm. Arrived at the International Arrivals Building.
I also show NW 9982 from LAX as a 757-200 landing at 7:00 pm, also at the IAB.
Neither of those are regularly scheduled flights, of course. And that makes three flights total from LAX today - we normally still just have the one flight, right?
So who do you suppose was on these? I'm guessing UCLA fan charters - the arrival at the IAB simply because there wasn't room at a regular gate.
Looking through the IND arrivals on flytecomm, there are also a larger than usual number of corporate-share jets from Bombardier Business Jet Solutions, Corporate Wings, and Executive Jet Aviation.
And, of course, the Cargolux 744 is scheduled to land any minute.
BTW, Indy - did you know that the website is running on Central Time?

Probably because the server is in the central timezone.

I feel the same way everytime something bigger than a J41 lands at St. Louis.
