I was driving (yes, thats a scary thought) around Brownsburg at about 4:15 and saw the Cargolux 744F. I guess I can finally say I've seen it now. It was heading southwest, parallel, to 5L/23R and 5R/23L. Were they landing on the 5's this afternoon?

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

I think so. I thought I saw it when I was coming home from running erands right around that time. It was a bit far off but it was a huge jet. I just assumed it was something else cuz the dang thing had been coming in so late.

Yes, we landed on the 5's yesterday. I landed on 5L with a DL MD-88 landing at the exact same time on 5R. That's a rare sight - two planes landing simultaneously on the parallel runways at IND. We're just not usually that busy, so the planes don't often line up closely like that. I think we're still landing on the 5's today - from my new house I can see a lot of the initial approaches when we're on the 23's, and it's been quiet all day.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?
