Anybody know or have a guess as to what might come to Indy for the F-1 race? Just curious, because before I've seen Atlas Air and Cargolux 744F's in town for the event.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

Cargolux is normal. There was some odd 767 in yesterday

I saw Cargolux a couple years ago, before their scheduled service.

An Absa - Aerolinas Brasilieras 767 arrived at 9:44 am this morning. From Bogota via MIA to IND. I'm sure that's related to the F1 race.

The ATA L1011 was scheduled to come in from Nuremburg, Germany today. That's probably military charter returning to base, though.

A Lufthansa cargo 747 from Frankfurt arrived at IND tonight at 6:41. Took off for DFW around 9:30. Probably dropped something (like some race cars) off and headed to its next freight destination. Would have been nice to see that bad boy rolling in.

FedEx often delivers race cars and related things for F1 and Indycar races. Nothing obviously unusual on the FedEx list of flights tonight, but it doesn't mean they didn't drop off some cars.

That's about it so far. A 767 from South America and a 747 from Germany. Still kicks ass, but there's probably more to come tomorrow still.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

Check out the pics in the gallery. I added a bunch including the Cargolux 747.
