June 30th will be the last date of the STL service. It lasted 3 whole weeks. The route was supposed to start with 3 daily flights. It quicly dropped to 2 and now is being dropped completely. Based dead sales it comes as no shock to me.

they were charging nearly $300 for a roundtrip ticket, which is absolutely absurd. i could get a ticket for under $100 making a connection in chicago, if i was that desperate to get to indianapolis.

shame, too, had the tickets been reasonable, i would have made a trip over just to browse around indy and perhaps go downtown for a bit.

$300? Maybe if you booked 3 months in advance Very Happy . I think if it were only $300 the route probably would have lived. Anything relatively short notice was $600+. That kind of charge is just insane for a drive that can be made in about 4 hrs 30 min.

BTW welcome board.

I was going by Google. Furthest west I have been on I-70 was Terre Haute to video tape a thunderstorm.
