In what is certainly to go down as a significant moment in the history of Republic Airways Holdings (RAH), the Indianapolis based company announced in two short days the acquisition of two airlines. On Monday it was announced that pending bankruptcy court approval RAH would become the owner of Colorado based Frontier Airlines. On Tuesday it was announced that RAH would be purchasing Wisconsin based Midwest Airlines.
