I was browsing the Indy Airport website...6 daily ERJ from Indy to Cleveland on the ERJ. I find this interesting...several years ago it was the props, of course, then it went to the ERJ's. I think there was three, and then four.
The decreasing of seats and flights from IND to PIT & PHL to allow for connections that would be the same from CLE could have caused a demand for more flights.

Actually, I think it's more of a means for CO to continue to grow despite things getting very crowded at EWR. By adding CLE flights, they can offer more choices to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic without having to put more pressure on Newark.

They should follow the trend and do it with a few other cities here and there. The Cleveland hub is one of the best airline hubs around, in my opinion, even if it is a massive swoiree of ERJs...a jet which I happen to like.

Does CO even operate 767's out of CLE, or is the biggest a 757? I know their seasonal Gatwick service was a winglet equipped 752.

No, I don't think they operate any widebodies ex-CLE anymore, save the occasional positioning flight. They used to run a 767 to LGW, but switched to the long-range 757 when they added all the European service. It's pretty clear with CO - EWR is their primary European and Asian hub, IAH is their primary Central and South American hub, and CLE is a domestic hub.

It has been several years since i was at CLE (i believe about 4 or 5 years) and was wondering how it looks (mainly inside). The last time i was there the bathrooms in the C concourse were not pleasant and there was a nasty "musty" smell as well.

I fly through there all the time. CLE is such an RJ-happy hub, though, that I mainly just end up going in and out of D terminal. That's a pretty nice terminal. It's fairly new, the bathrooms are generally clean, the terminal is bright and open and airy. My one complaint would be the lack of any real restaurants in D terminal. There's a small sports bar, a Starbucks, a Pizza Butt/TCBY, and a Bagel/Hot Dog place. Plus a couple of newstands. If I have time, I go over to C terminal to sit down at the Max & Erma's, but even that isn't anything to write home about. I also wish they had a CO Prez Club - even a small, limited-service one, over in D. But all in all, it's a nice airport with good service and easy connections.

Anyone here think CO should paint a retro-jet in the "meatball" scheme? It would be kind of cool

To be honest, I think retojets are over rated, there a few nice ones around, but now it seems like there are too many.
