With the new terminal opening in the fall, and the possibility of NW expanding because of the new terminal, how soon do you think we will see new route announcements, if any? I'm thinking probably June or July by the latest.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

I personally think we'll see more route announcements in the next 4 weeks. That is just a hunch.

Its a little of both. Not one of these guesses where I had to visit a Proctologist for help if you catch my drift.

If I had to make a guess I'd say SAN, MSY and maybe seasonal service to PDX.

If it were my choice I'd make SEA year round. Not just because of the o/d to SEA but also because SEA is a gateway city. I think PDX is too but I'd go seasonal a couple of years until it establishes itself out of IND.

It could work but NW can't charge $600 to $800 for a r/t ticket like they did the last time. That was completely out of line on their part.

I think some of the routes could use Messaba. A Saab 340 would be a good test on IND-BNA. You can't really look at the 22 people traveling that route according to faremeasure.com. Problem is there are no good connections to BNA. You pretty much need a nonstop on that route to stimulate demand. It is a route you'd fly nonstop but if you have to make a connection its almost as easy to drive it.
