I saw mention on Airliners.net that IND-SFO was loaded in the United Airlines route map. I checked and this is true. IND-SFO and SFO-IND are shown as operated by Continental Airlines. I don't know if this is an error and if not when it is supposed to run. Anyone have any information on this? It hasn't been loaded in OAG yet. I assume it would start late May or early June if it were true.

I remember it was either earlier this year or in late 2010, airport officials met with UAL execs as well as reps from other airlines about the possibilty of adding IND-SFO for business travelers. Maybe it'll happen now.

Now I see that CLE is losing SFO. Not sure IND would get the route with CLE losing it. Unless CLE is out of range for the equipment they were looking to use.

The answer is known. It was loaded in the route map but the flight is one time only. Feb 6th from IND to SFO. 737 service in the morning. This is a Super Bowl flight.

I believe the IND -SFO route will work if it does we may want to check in to expanding united airlines out toward the west coast.

last time i checked theres no mainline at all for United has that changed?
