With two C Gates open think United will move back to the C Concourse or are they still keeping some ties with US Airways as of right now?

Also, anyone else think UAL could have missed out on the opportunity seized by Air Tran to begin nonstops to SFO and LAX? The move to the D Concourse certainly allowed for the opportunity....

I don't think they will move anywhere. There really is no need for them to move back to C. I don't see any airline in D making much of any kind of schedule change this year.

I agree that there's no need to move back to C. It's expensive, too.

As for the SFO/LAX opportunity, I just think that UA sees IND as too close to ORD to try that. They don't want to compete against themselves.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

Any word on the talks that the airport officials were having with UAL about possibly adding a SFO nonstop?

I saw where a UAL 752 and 763 flew into IND the other day. The 752 was flight 1794 out of ORD. Was this a maintenance or charter flight or did hell freeze over and UAL resume mainline service? Razz

I wouldn't doubt it, Paintrain. Even as large of a market that Miami has, they only have seasonal mainline service to DEN. I believe that MIA-ORD is flown by Shuttle America and Mesa and that's a pretty busy route. I honestly believe that had the CO merger not happened, UAL wouldn't have survived 2010.

I remember when Delta implemented that rule. We quickly saw the SLC flight go from an E-170 to an A320 and/or MD-90.
