It appears January 3rd, 2009 will be the last day of IND-PIT service. Don't know if anyone else is going to pick it up or not. I have a feeling that we won't have anyone on it for a while.

Ya think maybe NW might pick it up with their airlink service? I don't know about you , but I don't know to many people going to Pittsburgh these days.

If you look at routes that help connect the dots in the NW/DL route map in regards to connecting to international destinations then you want destinations like SLC, PIT, PDX and SEA year round. You'd want to time PDX and PIT to provide international connections. You have more flexibility with SLC being that it is a DL hub. SEA has more flexibility because of the size of the market and the number of international connections available.
