I will be headed to Germany in February and I made sure to book my first ever flight on the trans Atlantic 757. I booked early enough that I got to pick my seats. I always go for a window seat. So the seats are 20A on the IND-DTW and DTW-IND flights which is on the DC9-50. The DTW-DUS and DUS-DTW flights are seat 34A. No particular reason for those seats. The flight is pretty much empty. I just grabbed something that looked a bit more out of the way.

Best part though is that including tax I paid $419 round trip for this. With the 500 mile minimum per segment I'll earn just over 9000 frequent flier miles. That comes out to $0.046 per mile.
