The 2nd image gives a really good look at the concourses from the outside. I hope they aren't planning on using dark windows like that. But there may not be much of a choice. I'd like to see clear glass but may result in people in the concourses baking in the summer sun.

Damn. I just keep saying, "this is going to be OUR airport?" Our little city is going to have an airport like this??

Nice rendering with the 747-800 (or maybe its the pax version of the A380) in drawing #2. Very optimistic.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

I figure it must be F1 weekend. Smile

Also I think 747's would likely be on the other end of the concourse. They would still be on the outside but closer towards the main part of the terminal. The interior will be reserved for 757's & smaller. The area closest to the terminal would be where the international arrivals gates are. And since IND would get very few international flights I doubt there would be a reason to move the jet to a different gate.
