FedEx IND hub opened 20 years ago this year. The current lease at IND is good unitl 2028, another 20 years, and i'm sure beyond that.
The company was formed in 1971 and originally based in Little Rock, Ark, but moved to MEM after the airport would not work with Fred Smith and his planned company. On the companies first full night, they used 14 Dassault Falcon jets deliver 186 packages overnight to 25 cities. The company was formed in 1971 what the roots of subsidiaries date back to 1913 to the parent company of, now, FedEx Trade Networks, which has a fairly large operation at IND as well.

If the lease is good until 2028 then its 20 more years. Or is the lease good until 2018? I remember when I was younger we were staying at a hotel in Tennessee and I was watching a tv show about this weird company called Federal Express. I never understood why so many people would need things shipped overnight that a company would survive. And I also figured that shipping overnight must have been horribly expensive. I was wrong in both cases.
