The Midfield Terminal is going to be opening sooner than first planned. October 28th is now the planned opening date.

Earlier? I like earlier. Good to hear that a major project is ahead of schedule for once, unlike that accursed library downtown.

I've been twice. The place is amazing. Park in the garage and come up to the lobby via the elevator. That way you'll get the same first impression I got.

I'd wait for September 1st and see what the schedule looks like then. I know NW has a very early flight out. I however think it was between US and FL for the first. I could be wrong.

Good idea...i looked as of right now and Continental has a flight out at 5:45 am...but i think i will wait. I almost would rather be on the first passenger flight in...but that could take a lot of work to find out *lol*

I'd be happy with one of the first flights out. You'd be there for all the grand opening stuff.

I think the first flight on Oct 28th will likely be a FedEx flight. But out of the new terminal, unless someone comes in with an ealier flight, it will be the CO flight to IAH at 0545. It's always been the first flight out of the morning. And it's always been the only CO flight to leave on time.
